October 27, 2023 – On Wednesday, September 6th, the I-95 Central Access Philadelphia (CAP) project broke ground at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. View the video of the groundbreaking ceremony below.
The ceremony marked a milestone for the transformational project that will reconnect the city with the Delaware River waterfront. The $420 million project will create a new pedestrian bridge and an 11.5-acre public space that includes gardens, an amphitheater, a play area, a cafe, and more.
